Assistant Professor - Americanist

The Department of the History of Art & Architecture at the University of California, Santa Barbara, invites applications for a tenure-track position in any area within the Arts, Architecture, and Material Culture of the United States, beginning July 1, 2024. Candidates may specialize in any region and period, although preference will be given to those whose research and teaching demonstrate a strong theoretical grounding and focus on ethnicity, diaspora, borderlands, racial justice, and/or Indigeneity.
